How to Prevent Sickness this Spring

Wondering what you can do to not get sick ?

Do you wonder what you can do to prevent yourself from getting sick? Even people with the flu shots are getting nailed. (Side note: I must admit I am not a flu shot kind of girl regardless.).

It’s important to stay healthy… and you probably think you are healthy. But what markers do you use to measure if you are healthy or not?

????????????????????????????My mom used to say she was healthy, and then she was diagnosed with cancer and died.  Mom would occasionally laugh at me when I was taking my herbs, with a smart comment, “What do I need to take those herbs for? I’m healthy.” But, the truth was that she wasn’t healthy.

This kind of situation reminds me of my 1st car. It looked so good on the outside, but the inside was a totally different story. It had a faulty cylinder (I identified it when I was taking automotive in school). This is a great example of how looking good on the outside isn’t necessarily reflective of what’s going on inside our bodies!

Just this week I felt an attack trying to get me, and because I knew what to do, I stopped it in it’s tracks before it could take me down.

Here’s what I dosed up with to prevent myself from getting sick.

Cats’ Claw Combo – This has the 3 most potent immune boosting herbs on the planet. It cleanses and strengthens the immune, intestinal and structural systems. Aids with disorders like Irritable Bowels, ulcers and hemorrhoids.

Zinc – it helps to support the immune system and liver, helps breakdown some bacteria.

Chlorophyll – liquid sunshine, a light digestive aid, and helps tonify the blood, giving people more energy.

Oregano oil – it is an anti-viral and anti-fungal, aiding in killing bacteria.

Infrared Sauna – a gentle warming heat that is beneficial to the body supporting detoxification, and boosting the immune system with the added benefit of weight-loss.

Hydration is also really important to help flush out the virus from our lymphatic system and our organs. Our bodies build up with toxic waste and often are not fully eliminating. The system gets overloaded and crashes by getting sick. So, hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!

Another important factor to preventing yourself from getting sick is to get plent of rest and a good night’s sleep. This helps your body to heal and restore.

If you take time to pay attention to your body, you will have a better understanding to what it needs to repair and stay strong. Start by being proactive this time of year and taking some extra immune herbs to support.

I believe if you have your stress levels in check, get proper rest, eat a healthy diet, and keep a strong flow in the immune and lymphatic system, you will ward off illnesses of all sorts because the body is not a good host for the virus to latch onto.

I’d love to hear from you. Leave me a comment below letting me know what you plan to do to ward off sickness this spring!
