In this busy face paced, every changing world it can be hard to keep up. We are faced with daily challenges, whether they be personal or business.
How do you handle them?
Handling challenges can be fun and exhilarating or they can be paralyzing and anywhere in between. The difference is really our choice. However, with some challenges may not feel like we have a choice.
Challenges I believe are there to get our attention, whether it be business, relationship or health. They can help us to grow if we are willing to look at them that way. They can challenge our reality and our beliefs.
For challenges out of our control, they can often take a lot of resources.
An important question I ask is how can I grow from this situation? How can I rise above? In order to do this it is important to practice good self-care, with things like proper nutrition that is high quality and nutrient rich, hydration, exercise, proper rest and relaxation to help restore the resources.
These times are reminders for greater alignment, and for us to connect with that greater aspect of ourselves where wisdom lies. Asking where is the opportunity? What is something good that can come from the situation? What is being called of me now?
I have found journaling or going out into nature to be very helpful with this process.
