Investing in You

Recently I heard a very scary health statistic. Obesity among Canadians is quickly rising. This made me ask myself “why”? What is causing this to happen to so many people?

There is so much of our lifestyle choices over which we have control that we need to be reminded that our health is our most valuable asset.
It doesn’t really cost a lot to stay healthy.  For most people, it simply takes making our health a priority.  Many modern day diseases are lifestyle and stress related.  Poor eating habits, a lack of quality exercise, smoking, drinking, lack of proper relaxation, and sleep, are all factors that are within our power to change and improve.

I encourage you to take a look at your current lifestyle and ask yourself if you are investing or withdrawing from your health bank account?
If you’re continually withdrawing, what are some small steps you can make today to shift your priorities? Otherwise you could one day be bankrupt with your health and very difficult to restore if not impossible and too late.  The majority of us are born with good health and then so often destroy it and expect our medical system to fix it for us for free.

What are you really saying to yourself?

These unhealthy behaviours can negatively impact our energy levels, our feelings of happiness, our moods, and our sex life to name a few!

I like to invest in myself by eating well, restful sleep, lots of fluids and exercising.
I continually expand myself and knowledge through reading and educational courses.
I am providing my mind with all that it needs to continue to be stimulated.
