One of my favorite essential oils for fall is cinnamon. I find it warming and stimulating with this cool damp weather. Cinnamon is an excellent anti-fungal, anti-viral and anti-bacterial oil. I recommend it to always be used sparingly on the body in a carrier oil since it can cause skin sensitivity for some people and I would also avoid using it on small children and pregnant women. It is also known an aphrodisiac and possibly can help with impotence, as well it is a tonic for the circulatory system.
It is best to use it in a diffuser where it can warm the air with the scent and aid in killing airborne viruses and bacteria.
