A stinky question

do you sweatDoes your sweat smell?

Recently I have come across some people who don’t sweat or seldom do. If this is you, you may want to be medically checked.

Yes, you want to sweat. If you don’t sweat then get curious, why not? A big one is you may be dehydrated. This is a big one.

Did you know that just through a normal day you exhale of a litre of water per day?

If you aren’t having at least 8 glasses a day, you are getting dehydrated. Without that water, your body has to pull water from other parts of the body making other areas become like prunes so to speak.

Speaking of prunes, they may then be needed, because constipation often occurs. Simply adding water to your diet can often help with increasing bowel movements.

Pruning shows up on the skin as wrinkles, and premature wrinkles can often be put off for sometime with increased hydration and care.

And if you answered yes to my question above, I want to let you know that sweat doesn’t have to smell. It can be a reflection of the diet, especially if there are a lot of spices. Often it is an indication of being acidic verses alkaline and another indicator of toxic build up in the system. There is not sufficient flushing in the system to properly eliminate. The body needs adequate fluids.

In the process of all of this lymphatic system gets congested and this can also contribute to a challenge with losing weight and making you prone to illness (there is a connection between the lymphatic system and immune system.)

But good news! There are ways to correct this lack of sweating besides hydration, such as exercise, dry skin brushing, rebounder, infrared sauna and having an attitude of willingness to let go.

Dry Skin Brushing is using a loofah on the skin to slough off the dead-skin. It will stimulate circulation and enhance the lymphatic system. It will leave your skin feeling smooth and rejuvenated.

Rebounder is a mini-trampoline this again helps stimulate the lymph system. It is also easy on the joints and is a source of exercise that is very easy.

Infrared sauna helps to warm up the body gently, stimulating circulation and warming up the core without putting stress on the body. It is more about just being in the heat verses the hot uncomfortable temperature.

Some other options can be taking some lymphatic supporting herb as well as affirmations along with some visualizations.

So, if you aren’t sweating, or if your sweat smells, which of the above suggestions will you implement to be your most healthy self? I’d love to hear, so leave me a comment below.

I do sweat, but it doesn’t smell much, unless it’s been too long since I showered of course 🙂

Interesting. I would interested in the herbs. What are some lymphatic supporting herbs?

Thanks for your interest Johanna, my favourite is Cat’s Claw, because it has 3 of the best immune support herbs in it and the immune system is so closely connected with the lymph system. I would love to help you more if you would like, just let me know.

not Jiz – Well, I’m quite confused because you don’t go on and on and on about your &#g#n6;doi18s&28217; in life, but yet you are attacked. If I cealrly ackowledge that you’re bragging, that’s your damn problem but the second you come out swinging just because you don’t necessarily think someone isn’t funny enough, then you bring the hammer down? No.We all have an intent, destroy Arthur and his blog.
